Ease of arrival/welcome

Good site for relaxation

We stayed here in August during mixed weather, as others have mentioned there is a very nice shower room although somewhat temperamental so used our van after that. We were offered tea when we arrived which was a nice touch. there is a community shop in the village and is in a lovely part of Devon. We wanted to visit RHS rosemoor and even on a wet day was well worth the trip, Filleigh is another lovely garden to nearby. The pitches are of a good size terraced down a slope on hard standing the site is surrounded by open farmland & fields and is peaceful. There is a nice pub close by but does not serve food on Sunday evenings and was closed Monday & Tuesday so had no opportunity to visit. We found getting there stressful as the routes take you up steep really narrow lanes we met a white van who was not going to move but overall worth the trouble.
