An easy to access CL with a warm welcome. Hard standings are set angled off the firm roadway, easy to reverse onto. As it is now, levelling blocks are needed both left to right and front to back, the owner tells me they are hoping to address this soon, but it's not a major problem, and once set up, the views are huge. The roadway continues on round to grass pitch options and then circles back to the gateway. Brilliant for wet season caravanning.
Facillities are all together and some of the cleanest I have ever used. This is an excellent addition to the CL network all round.
A walk back down the driveway to the bus stop, two buses an hour to Belper, Derby or Ripley. Plenty of footpaths from the site or close by. It's all so good!!
Yes, there is a little traffic hum from the out of sight A38, but how can I complain about that, I used the road the get to the site. Given half an hour, you don't really notice it. Better that than vehicles passing right next to the CL.
