Perfect for walking up Blencathra
We stayed here in our motorhome for a few nights in September. There are great views of Blencathra.
The site was easy to find, and although the owners are isolating due to Covid, we had no problems locating the facilities. If you are hillwalkers, you can walk from the site up to the top of Blencathra (we did a circular route with a pub on the way back). The site is not quite flat, and we needed blocks under the wheels on one side. Mobile signal was good. We would stay again.
