Have returned from a 3 day stay at CL Peaceful location and easy access from main road--the plus side Unfortunately,very wet conditions during visit The hard standing provided is a misnomer-barely adequate Caravans are pitched along the outer wall of barn/workshop with limited space between them.Streams of water cascaded from the broken guttering of the barn,adding to the already very muddy state.resulting in the pitches degenerating even further into quagmire like conditions. Facilities(an extra £2.00 per night) poor Hot water tap broken and waste paper bin not emptied (refer to some previous reviews) The facilities building was tired and dispiriting

If lucky,WI-FI is accessible,somewhere vaguely near the entrance gate

Overall,this CL was a disappointment.

We do, however, regret to hear that the wet conditions were unsuitable for you. The rainy weather at the time meant that the pitches did not have time to drain out, and so were fairly spongy at the time of your arrival. Our shower facilities are offered to all visitors for an extra £2 per night, and are an optional extra to your stay, we apologise that you did not find these up to standard.
