A real gem of a site

Excellent in every way. We received a warm welcome, the site is really well set up, even down to seating available to enjoy the beautiful views. Excellent pub/restaurant in nearby village ( we walked ), all worthy of more than a stopover.

More than a stop-over CL

Beautiful views, peace and tranquility surround you at this lovely little site. The ground is well kept, grass cuttings are removed. The seating area where you can sit (with a glass?) and enjoy the sun set over the nearby hills is an added bonus. Walk along the the river in Dumfries or the coast of the Solway Firth. Visit the Lockerbie memorial and then wander in the peace of the Eskrigg Nature Reserve where, if you're patient, you will see red squirrels. This site is in an excellent position for a stop-over but stay a little longer - you won't be disappoionted.

Excellent find.

Fairly new to the CL family, this was an excellent find. Very warm welcome, easy to find and pitch up, splendid views and very, very quiet. What more could we want? Mr Flemming has done a grand job setting this CL up.
