Nice welcome even though we were just using as overnight stop, good facilities.

We stayed one night as a stopover from Cornwall to Yorkshire. The lady owner came out specially to meet us and explained where everything was, and we were also greeted later by the younger lady -Clare?'- who texted me before arrival with details. The site is conveniently just off the M5 between Worcester and Droitwich, a convenient fuel station is just up towards Droitwich. There is a certain amount of road noise, but this is because access is so convenient when breaking a long journey on the motorway.. The site has a certain 'quaint' character which made us smile - for example what appeared to be a duvet repurposed as roof insulation in the toilet. All the facilities were conveniently located together next to the toilet, except that although there was recycling, we never found a normal waste bin.

CL site

Lovely well kept cosy site. Just an overnight stay for us on the way back from Cornwall. Very friendly lady welcomed us to the site & explained we could park any where we liked. She pointed out the faciliies & they even had a toilet & sink in the shed, this was very clean & hand sanitiser available. Also information regarding the area & maps .She also pointed out where we could walk the dog in a couple of large fields. I would recommend this site. You could also walk through these fields to the near by Swan Inn where there is good food available.

excellent CL

The description is accurate, the picture is of the pitch area. The toilet is clean and other review comments are correct. We use this site regularly and it is always beautifully maintained. There is good road cycling on quiet lanes through pleasant countryside from the site, just turn left out of the gate and first left off the main road. Hanbury Hall makes a good destination. If you come across a ford use the pedestrian bridge, they are very slippery. (I got wet!) We don't think there is a better or more convenient CL if driving on the M5. The owners and their daughter are lovely people, friendly and helpful.

What a lovely relaxing site

We spent a couple of days at this site on our way to whippet racing and what a little gem it is. Nice welcome, lovely countryside, with easy access to M5. Lovely clean loo too! Very enjoyable and we will definitely be back.

Excellent stopover

We booked this site for our stopover en route back home from Cornwall to Lincolnshire. So glad we did . Excellent location, easy to access and beautiful surroundings once we got there. The easiest set up too as the pitches were so flat. Greeted with all information needed and sorted our spot with ease. Even the weather was fantastic. We sadly missed the sunset as we had left the site to meet up with friends but looking forward to a retunr viist to watch the sun go down another time .

Hidden gem CL for any purpose and ideally located close to M5

We have visited this lovely CL on several occasions - mainly as an overnight stop en route to the West Country but also for a "Family Rally" of several days. What we enjoy about this CL is its close proximity to the M5 motorway and other road networks. Access is via a wide entrance from a relatively busy road - no issues at all with our Swift Conqueror twin axle caravan. Upon arrival, we always receive a very friendly welcome from the Owners and/or their daughter and on several occasions for an overnight stop when the site was not busy we were even able to park overnight without having to unhitch since the site is so level ! This is a working small-holding/farm with sheep in adjacent fields that add to the feeling of "getting away from it all" ! Whilst the A4538 is quite a busy road (requiring care when leaving with a caravan), nevertheless the noise has never been an issue since to some extent this is minimised by the many trees that surround the CL. Although the CAMC Sites Directory Handbook states that TV reception is fair, we never have any issues with reception in our caravan. The CL has flat level pitches that provide adequate space for all to enjoy, and thankfully when the grass is cut it is collected, thus avoiding it being trampled into the caravan ! The Owners have "gone that extra mile" by the provision of quaint clean toilet facilities that adjoin a farm building and other amenities are well provided - including solar lights around the water etc points ! There are very adequate facilities for waste, including that generated by dogs etc. Worcester is only a short distance away with several superstores that offer discounted fuel for those long journeys - we found Tesco to provide the best access/departure when fuelling with a twin axle caravan (Sainsburys had to open up a special barrier to allow us to leave the forecourt) ! We have never encountered any issues with the electricity supply. The site is always found to be well maintained. In conclusion, we believe that value for money this CL at Woodlands Farm is a real gem and is highly recommended (but do not tell too many others for fear we have difficulty next time we need to book lol!) - in comparison to the relatively nearby 2018 CL of the Year (Avonbank Meadow) which we visited only to find that it is NOT actually situated adjacent to the River Avon as portrayed in photographs which actually show a commercial site alongside the river), we would stay at Woodlands Farm every time without any hesitation - far more tidier and appealing ! Looking forward to our next visit !

Lovely CL

This is a lovely CL, which is well cared for. Grass had been mowed. There is a toilet on site for caravanners. The facilities are good. There are trees for shade which we definitely needed when we visited, as it was very hot. There is some road noise, but we didn't find it particularly intrusive. Very easy access and close to the motorway. We would definitely like to visit again.

An Enjoyable Stopover En-route

We stayed for one night southbound on the M5 and one night northbound in June. The site has a few little slopes but we did not need blocks. All facilities normally found on a CL were readily at hand including electric hook-ups and even a toilet. On the first night we simply chilled out but on the return, having arrived at noon, we found a cycle path on the towpath alongside the Worcester and Birmingham Canal that we joined via the road to Lower Smite Farm which is well signed off the road just south of the site. This avoids road traffic and goes right through the centre of Worcester and is enjoyable both for cycling and walking. The M5 noise is present but not too loud and there is a little noise from the road past the site but none of this is intrusive. It is a working farm with sheep and lambs right next to the site. The owner is very pleasant and helpful and her dog is wonderful. A very convenient and pleasant place to stopover.
