The Shropshire Gem!

Every once in a while you come a cross a gem of a CL like this one. Josie's warm welcome coupled with a welcome information pack and fresh laid eggs delivered by Brian, made for an enchanting stay! Very quiet sight, plenty of wildlife including owls, lovely views and all site facilities easily accessed. Well done Brian & Josie you're doing a great job, hope you have a vacancy for us when we wish to return next year!!!  Thanks, Mick & Carol.

Wrekin View CL... and you can!

As the name implies there are good views over Withington village to The Wrekin, which is about 7 mls from the site. The site itself is mainly grass which slopes down to hard entrance drive. The lane to the site is narrow in places but very quiet. There's a good dog walk round the field behind the site. We received a very warm welcome from Brian, and half a dozen eggs too! Shrewsbury is not far away for all ones needs, and Attingham Park, N/T, is close by, as is Wroxeter Roman Villa. Withington has a pub which is about 1ml from the site.

Fine & Dandy

Wrekin View is a great CL, everything you need - peaceful, short grass, handy water taps, grey waste (but told we could put it in the hedges if we wanted) rubbish recycling bins, a fabulous view of The Wrekin, and good TV reception. The nearby Haughmond Hill Forest (2 miles away) has many trails for running, walking, and also has with a mountain bike trail. Brian and Josie have a lovely set up and will be very popular - highly recommended.  Just make sure you come via Attingham Park NT property to Upton Magna, as other roads are very narrow.

One of the BEST

Great little spot met by Brian with a welcome pack about the places of interest and Yes half a dozen eggs! Brian was great help and would do anything to make you stay more relaxed, could not fault the place. One point do not follow your sat nav follow the directions given as there is a lot of single track roads in the area, alway arrive via Uppton Magna and only a short section of single track road. Great spot and we will be going back

Excellent!!

An excellent new CL, as other reviewers have already stated this is a high standard, well maintained and very welcoming CL. This one's going to become well used and popular, we will certainly be returning. A very peaceful part of Shropshire with views that make you want to get out and walk. And..... it's Adult Only. Deep Joy.

One of the best!

Just returned from a four night stay in this beautiful corner of England. Wonderful view of the Wrekin (hill that is one of the most famous landmarks in Shropshire). Absolutely peaceful and tranquil. Site immaculately kept, with owners Brian and Josie going over the top with hospitality. We were met as we arrived and advised on the best location. Like many others reviewing this site we were presented with half a dozen eggs on arrival, (I assume this is only possible when Brian's hens are laying well). Would highly recommend Wrekin View to anyone.

Perfection

Excellent directions ( Sat Nav friendly).Easy site access. 5 well signposted pitches on hard grass with EHU. M/H friendly water points and very good toilet and waste disposal. Immaculately maintained with extensive rural views to the Wrekin. Close to Attingham Park NT and a number of other attractions. Walking distance of village and pub ( many others in nearby villages). Very welcoming hosts- would call it perfection

Quiet, oh so quiet!

Tucked away down a lane, this is the place for peace, quiet, walks and a couple of pints of real ale in the nearby village. Very friendly owners, we even got half a dozen free eggs from Brian's chucks. There are walks from the site, but take the car for 10 -15 minutes and you have walks on the Wrekin and other beautiful areas nearby. The pub is dog friendly other than early Friday evenings and Sunday daytime when they offer food. Wye Valley and Hobson's beers. We'll be back.
