This is my second attempt...the first being taken down for no apparent reason last night! Firstly, I have stayed at this site several times before and always found the wardens polite and professional. The site itself is a little old fashioned looking, but clean, spacious and has a lovely charm. Great village, pubs and walks nearby. Yesterday, I arrived over an hour early. Completely my fault as I'd wrongly assumed check in was 12pm. The office was full of the 4 wardens with no other customers in sight. I asked if I could check in early and was told, by one lady, no. I won't comment further on the short conversation thereinafter, but would, as a paying and loyal customer, have expected some flexibility given the site was only around 60% full. The reason for my 1* review isn't the site, but one warden's complete lack of customer focus, which in my opinion, is the most important factor. I'm not looking for this lady to be disciplined, even though it appears (looking at previous comments) that I'm not the first to complain, but would like some reassurances from the club that wardens are properly trained in customer care, and have the flexibilty (which I've seen administered before-for myself and other customers) to allow certain rules to be acted upon more leniently when the situation allows. I feel this is a fair review given yesterday's experience.

Moderator Comment - Your first review was hidden, and reported to the Community Manager, as will this one, simply because of the comments you made about  Club Staff. I see you have moderated your language in this second attempt. However the review section is not the place to complain about individual members of site staff as they have no ability to put their side of the story, this should  be done directly to the Club where it can be properly investigated.
