Lovely 4 night stay

This was our second time staying at this site & it did not disappoint.Freindly wardens & exceptionally kept grounds & clean toilet blocks.A very good dog walk where you can walk for miles, also a fairly good children's play area with a little playing field as well.Hastings is just a short drive away & is always worth a visit as the kids love the beach & the cliff train as well as fair rides & amusement arcades. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely site & quite unique

Love this site. Every pitch and area is different. Beautiful scenery, woodland, shrubs, wildlife. Lovely walk via woodland footpath to Catsfield, a pub & shop.  My only complaint, is not to do with this site in particular, but all Caravan Club sites. Why oh why do the showers & washrooms close in the mornings? I know that when there are 2 shower blocks they close at different times but it's always morning time. I'm not an early riser while away in the caravan and like to have my shower between 10 and 11am. What time did the shower block close? Between 10 and 11am :(

Great Site!

Wonderful site.  Spotless! Could not give a familiy rating as we are two old people.  CC Need to have an opt out button for that review.  Walked to Battle from the site.  It was to do. Bet it looks beautiful in the spring/summer.

Fantastic.....

As first time caravanners we were somewhat nervous as to the procedure when coming on site. Within no time of arriving we were made to feel so welcome. Very friendly reception, stunning location, immaculate toilets and shower block. Great walk to the local pub through the woods. We cannot recommend this site more highly. Look forward to returning in the next couple of weeks. Many thanks to you all for such a wonderful weekend, a great site.

Something for everyone

A wonderful site. Whatever kind of pitch you prefer this site has it - open, shady, private, grass, hardstanding, with views.  Helpful friendly wardens and immaculate facilities.  The pitches in the north-west of the site do suffer from a little road noise so avoid those if that's an issue for you.  Overall highly recommended.
