Comfortable

Arriving the site, hosts Paul and Steph made us welcome. We had a choice of excellent pitches and even assisted with a short notice change of our itinerary. The pitch was more than adequate for our 7 mtr camper. Close proximity to local pubs ( under £5 each way) or 30 min walk. Quiet and peaceful. We would recommend this site, ideal for access to Kent showgrounf

A warm and friendly place for our first ever caravan trip!

This was my first ever visit to a CS after having just picked up our first ever caravan: the idea was to stay for a couple of days just down the road from the dealer to make sure everything was working properly. I want to say that this site was fantastic, due to a combination of an excellent location, peaceful surroundings and an absolutely amazing and welcoming staff. Stephanie gave us a lovely welcome, and Paul actually personally helped me pitch up. His advice, guidance and hands-on help were absolutely indispensable: I am so appreciative! I would not have been able to pitch up nearly as smoothly without him. We have two small children and Steph and Paul were amazing to them. I had read reviews about people mentioning the nearby motorway noise but it wasn't nearly as bad, and we all quickly got used to it. The peaceful ambience and setting also more than made up for it. Also the baby/child bathroom was an unexpected but very welcome plus! We would thoroughly recommend this site, and due to its location we intend to come back several times!

Excellent site

We used this site as a stopover on the way to the Channel Tunnel and it did not disappoint. Friendly and helpful wardens, excellent facilities, well kept and tidy. Location is easy to get to and from M20 in just a few minutes. Some slight road noise but not enough to disturb or be a problem.

Bearsted, again, again & again

We use this site several times a year. It allows to visit our son and family who live about 10 minutes away. As always the site staff are helpful, friendly and obviously hard working as the facilities are clean and well maintained. The current staff, Stephanie and Paul gave us a very warm welcome. Due to Operation Brock on the M20 they kept us upto date with west bound access. During our 4 nights stay we had good weather which at this time year was positive addition. With the entrance to the site being just after a Ben’s on the A20 it can be a bit of a “gamble” pulling out with the caravan at busy times. The speed limit is 60mph and the locals use it to its maximum+. Maybe the club could approach the local road chiefs about extending 40mph limit to before the bend? Only an observation!!

Wonderful staff

You could not ask for better hospitality from a site. Greeting was excellent and the staff members could not have been more helpful in ALL aspects. Very approachable and friendly. Lovely walk to Leeds castle from the site. The layout and facilities on the site are super. Can not fault anything. Highly recommend and will certainly be back. Thank you so much.

Visit to Kent

We have stayed at this site on two occasions. The site is relatively compact and on a slight slope although most of the pitches are level and quite spacious. The facilities block is situated at the top end of the site along with the reception office and information point. The facilities are extremely good and kept in a very clean condition. Most pitches are hard standing with some grass ones. The site is quite open with no hedges or other vegetation between the pitches. The wardens are very helpful and friendly - as usual.. There is a bus stop outside the site entrance with services to Maidstone . There are two or three pub/restaurants in the neighbourhood but not really within convenient walking distance, particularly on the dark evenings. Leeds Castle is close by and could be walked to. This is a site I would definitely return to.

Lovely warm welcome

We received a very warm welcome from Stephanie and Paul and given all the information we needed. Its a lovely well kept site with spotless facilities, the pitched are tiered and all level. Theres a bus stop outside the site to Maidstone and Leeds castle near the site, we were told we could get a discount if you take your receipt but unfortunately we didn't visit on this occasion. The site has a barrier for which you are given a card so it feels secure. Would definitely recommend this site, we will certainly return again. Thank you to Stephanie for her recommendations of a pub with a restaurant and car park nearby we could use on the way home. Lovely site, great wardens, worth a visit.

Very friendly staff

I stayed for two nights while visiting a friend in Kent. The wardens were very friendly and helpful and I am sorry I couldn't stay longer. I didn't find that there was any intrusive noise although you could hear the planes occasionally. The facilities were very clean and I would certainly go back again and stay for longer as there seemed to be lots to do in the surrounding area - e.g. Leeds Castle, Hever etc.

Clean, Friendly staff, Location.

This site Is just getting better with the new Wardens. Standards of before is being kept up, and service with a smile and a laugh and happy to help which goes down well after a long journey. Can hear a bit of noise sometimes but depends what way the wind is blowing. Easy access from M20 and M2.

Multi re-visit

This is our umpteenth visit and as always the site facilities are top notch. We find that the reported noise is back-ground noise and not an intrusion when the caravan door is closed. We often note the passing Eurostar trains in the distant. The main purpose for our many returns is that one of our sons lives in Maidstone but use the this site if visiting Kent for holidays etc. This time a nice touch when booking in, the site staff (are they still called Wardens) introduced themselves. I alway like to known to whom I’m talking to!
