Inviting and Peaceful Site
Bearsted is located straight off a main road, which is always a good start. The wardens were extremely friendly and helpful, keeping the facilities to a high standard of cleanliness. With the amount of leaves that have fallen and the persistent rain we have had it was great to see that both the pitches and pathways around the site were free of leaves.
The site is fairly central in Kent with good access roads to Canterbury, Folkestone and London. Maidestone is only a 3.5 mile walk away, a good bus service into town is optional. Leeds Castle is less than 2 miles away in the opposite direction.
The club WiFi service is excellent and the network (three) is acceptable if not great.
I spent 8 nights here and found it quite peaceful and would quite happily return in the future.
