What could be better than walking on the beach in the morning sunshine watching the dolphins in the bay? That was just one highlight of our stay at Berwick upon Tweed. The site overlooks the sea and we were lucky enough to get a pitch with a great view. Those arriving late however may end up at the back of the site where it is a little tight for space if you have a larger vehicle. Toilet/ shower facilities clean and Covid procedures in place. Only drawback was that cleaning takes place early compared to other sites which makes for a rush and the inevitable queuing and ignoring wrist band system by some. Light sleepers be aware that there is a train track directly behind the site and the town click chimes every hour day and night. Didn’t bother us but worth knowing. Would definitely recommend.
