Great site

We only live 30 mins away but always great to get to our fantastic Lancashire coast. staff are exemplory, friendly and helpful. Site is within a mile of Blackpool and all its attractions. Not for us but superb if thats your thing, otherwise could be in deepest countryside. One of our fave sites. Keep up the great work all you Blackpool guys do. Thank you Chris and Ange

Spot on site

We have stayed here on numerous occasions, always clean and tidy, good wardens and ideally located for Blackpool and surrounding district.it gets a bit noisy around the kids play area, but then again it is a family site,if you want it quieter then pitch to the right of reception.ample sized pitches.

A good, convenient site

We were in Blackpool to visit a sick relative rather than on holiday. We found the site to be very clean and quiet and convenient not only for local hospitals but also for shopping and the local attractions. The staff are most helpful and friendly.

Great site with one downfall

As my title says great site but one downfall ,it's very noisy with traffic ,got woke up every morning by rush hour traffic ,my advise is don't stay around the park area try and go to the other side. Apart from that a great site good standards as always . It's a drive everywhere holiday as the roads around are very busy.

Pleasant and clean site

This is our 3rd visit to Blackpool South and we have just returned from an 11 night stay. The site, facilities and shower blocks are kept very clean and tidy by the Wardens. There is an on site playground for the children and a baby/child bathroom with bath and shower at no extra cost. There is slight road noise if you pitch on the outer perimeter of the site but nothing major - the site itself was quiet and not rowdy. It was about a 10 minute drive to Blackpool so you could get away from the action at the end of the day or enjoy a relaxing day on site. We will definitely be returning to this site in the future.

Great spot for cycling base

Lovely site...compact but well organised so feels private. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Not stayed here before..previously used non caravan club sites..This is much better. Not sure it's great for families...We are a childless couple and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Good access to cycling routes. ..bit remote if relying on walking to anywhere. .. We are already planning to book the site again next year. Surprisingly quiet for august bank holiday!

South blackpool site

We have just spent six nights here have no complaints, the site is quiet the toilet blocks are kept spotless, the one way signs for the one way round part of the site are nil and require updating the gravel pitches are ok clean but feel not for children and I feel the site lighting is poor and feel the lights on the power boxes are a waste of time due to them being inset into hedges we all enjoyed ourselves there the staff are polite and helpful.

Great site, warm welcome

Arrived on Sunday, peak period, received a warm welcome and surprised on choice of pitches. We enjoyed our few days here and will definitely be back. Everything spotless. Wardens do a great job and work tirelessly.
