Our first time on this site, and we'll definitely be back. Lots of grass pitches which I much prefer, especially when the weather is good. Good dog walk where the dog can run off-lead. The shower block is rather tired and in need of refurb, but the wardens do a great job in keeping it spotless. Clearly the club won't invest in an upgrade to the facilities because they aren't on a long lease, in fact the warden told me they are just on a 6 month rolling lease so can be booted out at six months notice. Let's hope they can get a longer commitment. The site is in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, you get a discount on the entry fee to the palace and you can convert your day ticket to an annual pass. The palace grounds are wonderful, we hardly bothered to stray anywhere else during our one week stay.
