Excellent site for a break

Just returned from 9 nights over Easter. Fantastic wardens & relief wardens, nothing was too much trouble, newspaper orders & milk available. Clean, tidy site with fantastic views & birdlife. Excellent location for touring or having a rest. Will be back.

lovely site great wardens

Have stayed on this site on numerous occasions ,and it only gets better now that the club seem to have woken up to the fact that this type of site is a real asset to the network, and have started to do work on the trees and bushes which gives the views of the wonderfull  Cotswolds, and the wardens this year are some of the best  there are nothing was a l for them

Lovely stay

The site was in a lovely spot, enjoyed our few days there and liked the surrounding area. One grievance was the caravan on the pitch beside the MH waste point which meant we were unable to use it. This did not spoil our stay but could cause problems when busier on the site.

Great site

We had a few windy days here and despite the cold enjoyed some walks with our dogs. Quiet and peaceful, friendly wardens and a short dog walk adequate for the morning and evening necessaries. Other walks in spectacular countryside nearby. Beautiful villages, we loved Lower Slaughter.

Great time in high winds!

We were greeted by welcoming wardens to a peaceful site with very slight road noise. The surrounding Cotswold countryside is so beautiful and very attractive villages, such as the Slaughters, are not far away. Good opportunities for walks nearby. We encountered very high winds during our time at the site and the warden allowed us to stay an additional night until the winds dropped for our return journey. Had the winds not died down he offered for us to leave the caravan in the storage area for a few days so that we could return home secure in the knowledge that the van would be safe until we could return to collect it. As always the fellow caravaners were very friendly and would have assisted in case of problems.  It really is great to be part of such a helpful club!

Peace and quiet!

Greeted by lovely friendly site wardens. Site is spotless with dividing  tress / bushes. Lots of dog walks off site and a quick dog walk on site. The whole area is beautiful.  We will return again.

Early break

The site had only just opened, so it looked amaculate. The site doesn't offer any facilities, but the wardens hut does stock emergency items and offered a paper delivery, which we thought was a lovely touch.  Do be aware that there are no shops or a pub within walking distance of the site. Im not sure I'd like to stay on the site when fully booked, as there appeared to be little room or privacy between the markers.
