Disappointed

We should have been going to this site over bank holiday, we where all packed up ready to go to arrive on Friday, we received a phone call at 7.45pm Thursday evening to say site had doubled book it's site and would be cancelling our bookibig. Can't believe they rang so late to cancel our booking. Very very disappointed with CC for allowing this to happen. We where very fortunate to be able to get into Great Yarmouth CC which we have been to before. Still waiting for response from CC. Can't comment on site

Delightful Site

Just spent 4 nights on serviced pitch and what a pleasure it was. This newly acquired site will greatly enhance the C&MClub. Whilst the site at present is idyllic it sadly lacks modernisation. Some pitches are severely cramped, and could feel lacking in privacy. Under previous owners, visitors have been able to ‘select’ and pre book specific pitches from year to year. As Motorhome owners this site lacks proper, easy access for emptying wastewater. We didn’t experience this as we had a serviced pitch, but if touring then could be a problem. Hopefully this will be addressed. Likewise both toilet & showe facilities are, whilst adequate, there are nowhere near enough to support the number of visitors, if the site is full. Currently at present, the site isn’t ‘really ‘children friendly’ BUT it has a glorious grass & barked perimeter from the site for both walkers and dog walkers which leads onto Public Footpaths.over fields with stunning Dorset views The newly arrived CMC staff were, quite amazing, with their task at hand of managing previous visitors and new to the site visitors. The future of this beautiful site location together with modernisation will most certainly, in our option, make it a destination choice for us in the future.
