Lovely club site discovered by accident. No wc or showers but good clean facilities and a motorhome drive-over point (always a bonus). Part of the site is an open plan grass site with boules set out for members to play. The other part of the site was a woodland area with lots of trees and more privacy and this is where we parked. Absolutely loved it as did the dogs - lots of places for walks, plenty of dog bins provided and site was kept very clean with bins etc emptied regularly.
Its like a cross over between a club site and a CL and we really loved that. OK so you had to use your own facilities but to be honest that really wasn't a problem. We will certainly be coming back here as its a lovely site and there's so much to see and do very close by
Good Little Site - Convenient for ferry from Newhaven
Stayed here for 1 night before getting te ferry to France. No facilities but not a problem as we just used the van. Site is clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

So good we keep coming back
Just had 2 nights at Broomfield
The weather was wonderful and although the site was fairly full it was still peaceful .
We love this site , although no facilities you need your own .
We do not want toilet blocks , club house etc .
We want a peaceful site where members stop to chat and a happy atmosphere.
The service points with the bins and the chemical disposal point was kept spotless.
Grass mowed around the pitches and as we left Steve and Kaye were out mowing the centre meadow.
The newly painted reception looked welcoming and made you feel such caring site managers run this site .
Just a shame not many of these sites in the club network as they are wanted.
Looking at calendar to see when we can fit in another visit .
This season has gone so quickly.
But March 2024 we will be eager to return.

Broomfield Farm
I have just had a six night stay at Broomfield Farm Club site.
This is a hidden gem for people who love peace and quiet but wish to explore attractions in East and West Sussex due to where it is located.
The site is extremely well maintained by Kaye and Steve the wardens who work very hard for the enjoyment of people staying on the site.
Ideal for people who enjoy walking or visiting the many places of interest within the area.
Anyone has not stayed here is missing out on a great place to stay.

Very enjoyable stay
Lovely peaceful site. No facilities, but that wasn't a problem. Friendly, helpful staff. Very good value. Will definitely be back.
Peaceful idiotic site
Just had 4 nights at Broomfield farm Camc site.
Site was fairly full for the weekend, but still peaceful.
Spoke with other members and they come often as itβs one of their favourites.
No toilet block so need your own facilities.
There is the open meadow or the woods to pitch in .
Ideal for dogs and walking the South Downs.
Worth a visit if this is what you like.
In the village there is a shop , public house and a coffee shop.
All this for Β£22 a night π

Boules tournament
Stayed on site for 5 nights
The weather could have been better
On the Friday it was a boules tournament, which was well supported, with laughter and friendly members.
Also a raffle .
This is a peaceful site in the countryside with fields all around.
There is a public house in the village and a coffee house plus a village shop for bits of shopping about 1.5 miles .
The site has an open meadow or a wooded area to pitch in .
The site managers Steve and Kaye will help with information of the area and always a smile and friendly.
Would recommend this site .

3 night stay.
This was our first time of using a club site in year's. We chose it for location and price. Surprisingly it was cheaper than CL's !!
It was down very narrow lanes, which were overgrown. Maybe a suggestion, get someone to trim the grass verges. The bulk of the site was well kept. Unfortunately that was let down by the seasonal pitches which were overgrown with long grass and dirty caravans. π on the plus side, some outstanding walks from the site. I personally felt that the first sign on the entrance was very unfriendly. If you arrive before (time) go away and come back later!
Hopefully we will have a better experience on a future visit.

Very enjoyable peaceful stay
We had an extremely pleasant 3 day stay at this site. The weather was kind which always helps, but the ambience of the site in the area we stayed was excellent. The only downside as far as I am concerned is that, out of 45 or so grass pitches, 35 are seasonal and some of them look a bit ropey to say the least. It looks as if some of them are almost treating the pitch as residential with masses of clutter spread around and multiple pets. The access to the site is also a bit dodgy with very narrow approach roads with overhanging bushes and plenty of opportunity to drop a wheel into a ditch! Beware.
Great Place but needs upgrade
Really love this site and clearly the wardens do all they can to be as perfect as possible. BUT
The site and pitches needs a serious upgrade, thinks like the pitches haven't had new shingle in years and aren't wide enough for modern vans, awnings and a car, waste areas need a complete overhaul.
The club can do better and without spending a huge sum of money could make the pitches and waste areas much better.
But as said beautiful location, quiet and warden work hard with what they have. My stars of the facilities is a reflection of the upgrade works needed not the day to day cleaning or maintenance by wardens.
