Stop number 3 towards the north

Beautiful location when you find it but please take care over the railway bridge. We had a lovely pitch in the middle grass circle but it is not sheltered like the description states. On both nights got a proper buffeting from the very strong wind. Superb beach but please be aware of cows on golf course who get very inquisitive about dogs.....we climbed a gate to get out of their way! Sutherland Arms in Brora serves excellent food and give a warm welcome to dogs.

The cattle are harmless but naturally curious.

You would have found an element of shelter on the perimeter pitches rather than the more exposed centre ones.
