With a view like this, it's worth the drive.

The view across the Loch from absolutely anywhere on site is jaw dropping. The colours, the sky, the mountains, the valleys, just an awesome combination. Close to so many attractions, Jacobite Line, Ben Nevis, Glencoe, and then a bit further afield to Skye, Oban and the Western Isles, this made an ideal touring base. I agree about the walking, we have two collies and really had to take them out in the car so they could get a decent walk. I try to cycle too, but this is very difficult considering how busy the A82 is, although Highlands Council are in the process of building a cycle path. That being said, putting the dogs in the car to let them have a walk is a small negative compared to the views freely available on site. Hugh Kerr

Another success

Our third visit although for only one night on our way to the Outer Hebrides but we look forward to this site. We had a problem with the 13 pin plug on our new caravan but the wardens could not have been more helpful and unquestionably saved the day as we only just managed to get to Mallaig in time for our ferry. Thanks a million. Brilliant and probably the best Club site. Already looking forward to our next visit.

First visit

Excellent views from this site of the lochs and mountains. Well kept site. Wardens friendly. Walking from site limited to drive way up to main road and over into the woods.

Excellent location

Only stayed one night here but something I will extend on my next visit. Excellent site and the most friendly and helpful staff of all the sites I visited. Well done it truly makes a difference when travelled long distances.

Just lovely

We arrived two weeks ago to a lovely welcome from the assistant warden couldn't have been more helpful of obliging. The site entrance was neat tidy and colourful, as was the whole site, we had an six night stay but could have stayed longer. Unfortunately didn't meet the Wardens but am assured they are equally helpful. One more thing I even saw the lady assistant picking up litter off the pebbles at the side of the loch!! We also had the most wonderful weather.

Excellent Site

Used the site a few years ago and spent a weekend here from 3 - 6.6.16 as a base for a climbing trip. Had forgotten how fantastic the location is with great pitches with views over Loch Linnhe. Facilities are to the usual high standards expected of caravan club sites and well looked after by great staff (sorry I missed you this time round Dougie - will catch you next time!!). I had a very busy weekend climbing planned and the weather was excellent so I didn't have much time to enjoy the site and it's superb location (although my wife who doesn't do the munro's did!!). Thoroughly recommend this site and will definitely be back.

Wow what a view

Stayed here for 3 nights from 4 th June and the views are amazing . My only gripe was that the site was busy and as we have a small van we were allocated a pitch which was a small spot near the entrance pitch 2 with no surrounding grass to sit on and under a shady tree . I thought it was first come first served for pitches but wasn't allowed onto pitch 1 which was a lovely sunny pitch with loads of grassy space around as that was going to be allocated to another van arriving later who were bigger than ours . I felt we were penalised for having a small van and think if they are going to allocate pitches it should be mentioned on booking ( moan over ) . The site was well maintained with spectacular views , no road noise , . Lovely walk just along the road to the corran ferry where foot passengers can cross the loch for free where there is a lovely pub serving great food . Short drive into Fort William . Take plenty of midge spray and enjoy a great site

Another superb location.

We enjoyed 3 nights here towards the end of May. We already knew the area, but this was our first time on this site. It really is in a most beautiful location overlooking the Loch. The A82 is a busy road, but the site is far enough away from it for there to be no traffic noise whatsoever. Access to Fort William is easy by bus, and the Corran Ferry is just a short walk/cycle ride along the main road. There is now a wide (safe) footpath/cycle path along the A82 leading to the ferry. Cycling on the other side of the Loch is superb, although not traffic free. We can also recommend The Jacobite steam train which runs between FW and Mallaig. Its well worth the money. However, it is very popular, so pre-booking is advisable. There is also the possibility to fish in the sea from the site, but alas I was not successful. The wardens were very pleasant, and helpful with information. We will definitely visit this site again.
