Take a torch,

This is the darkest site I have ever been to, they have lights but their to mean to turn them on, take a torch, and look out for the fastest grass mower on the planet very dangerous

I stayed on the site earlier this year and the lack of excess lighting is something I value

We also prefer sites with minimal lights and we always carry torches, I was bought up in the middle of countryside in Shropshire again always a torch on hand, agree with OP re the night sky.

We are looking forward to our short stay next month a site we have not stayed on before.
