We have visited this site a few times but not since the refurbishment. It was ok before but now looks stunning. The wardens should be congratulated for a beautiful, clean and well kept site. Nice big pitches, mostly level and after the refurb have additional fully serviced pitches. The toilet block is a pleasure to use. We loved the addition of the little nature areas, bug houses and a bug caravan, someone has made a real effort with them. My only problem was no phone signal ( on 3) unless i went up the hill, but my husband had one so all was not lost. Lots of areas to explore, Pooles Cavern and the Go Ape for the kids. A pleasant walk down into Buxton but quite a hard walk back but a local taxi firm have a good rate for a trip back if your legs can't manage it. The wardens were efficient and very pleasant. We will gladly return.
