A pleasant stay, BUT...........
My Wife and I have stayed at Cadeside many, many times and have always had a pleasant experience on site.
We have just returned home from a 5 night stay and even though the weather was poor we enjoyed our stay.
We would have stayed for 7 nights but a charge of £140 for 7 nights is out of order for a site with no toilet/shower/dishwashing or laundry facilities.
The Caravan Club in their wisdom have decided to increase the nightly charge from £15 to £20 which equates to a 34% increase but have not made any improvements to the site.
I have looked at prices of other Caravan and Motorhome Club sites which have basic facilities such as Cadeside and notice that there are at least 10 sites which the Club charges range from £16 to £18.
For the 5 nights which we stayed at Cadeside I have found out it would have been cheaper for us to have stayed at Cheddar and several other Club Sites which have all facilities .
It is with regret that we will be taking our custom elsewhere as we refuse to be robbed by a greedy Club.
We will be making more use of our membership of 'the other club' which has a more sensible approach to their pricing especially o.a.p.'s such as ourselves.
