Stayed in June for seven nights.
A very well kept site, beautifully maintained, site staff very friendly.
Not recommended for for large families as the kids will be bored on the site.
Perfect for couples ,with good access to local beaches and villages etc.
loved it, bargain.
Beautiful peaceful site
Enjoyed a week stay here. Beautifully maintained site, very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed trips out with the dogs to nearby beaches, especially Lligwy beach which is dog friendly and a great walk along the costal path into moelfre for a pub lunch. Also newborough forest and beach. Will definitely be back.
3 Night Break
This site is in a great location for exploring the island, with some lovely beaches nearby.
This was the first time we had been on a site without facilities hence the first time we put to use everything in our caravan - we wont hesitate in future to use sites without a toilet block etc.
Very helpful wardens, who keep the site well maintained with beautiful flower and hydrangea displays.
Good dog walk which is accessed from the site gate and runs through woodland to an open field (privately owned), then out onto a minor road which enables you to walk a circuit incorporating the village.
Convenient pub at the site entrance, which attracted quite a crowd on the evening we went.
We will definitely return to this site.

Lovely site
We visited for long weekend. Never visited this site before but we will be back. Pretty, quiet, great pitch (one of the nicest pitches we have ever had on Caravan Club site), wardens approachable, friendly, helpful, made us very welcome with our well behaved dog. Great location for exploring Anglesey. No toilet block wasn't a problem.

5-day break
we have been visiting Cae Mawr for 25 years and enjoy a couple of short breaks there every year. We have seen a few Wardens come and go and the site is always immaculate. We love Anglesey and always manage to find something new to see every visit. We cannot imagine ever getting bored there. That's the positive, now the negative! Unfortunately, there are some dog owners who walk their dogs round the site instead of the dog walk and allow them to foul the grass, thinking that this is okay as long as they pick it up, and deposit the said waste in the general purpose bins, This can be off-putting when you are sitting having a meal!! I know this subject has been debated many many times, but the situation is definitely getting worse not better.

first trip to anglesey
first trip to north wales loved it great site, great location. wardens nice we had a lovely break..
Anglesey Trip
Just spent 4 nights on this very nice quiet site. Ideal for exploring the east side of the island only little complaint most of the pitches are not level. Warden very helpful. Fish and chip shop in Benllech is good
Great Little Site
This site was the first on our trip through North Wales. We found the site very quiet and peaceful and the facilities were well spaced around the site. There is a good circular dog walk from the site, as well as great coastal walks. The site does not have anything for children, although there is plenty for them to do on the island.
We visited South Stack and had a great morning watching the seabirds. We were unable to visit the light house on the island as dogs are not permitted. We really enjoyed our time on the site and would definitely use again.
A Grand Site
This is a most pleasant site, on two levels, with mainly hardstanding pitches on the lower one and a mixture of H/S and grass pitches on the upper. This make for a less regimented feel than on a lot of other CC sites. It is well sheltered on all sides by small woods, however this does restrict the view from the site. There is a decent dog walk off site and down to a quiet lane, and there's a pub adjacent to the entrance drive. The drive is narrow in one spot where there is no clear view, so adherence to the 12:00 arrival rule is advised. There are many interesting places on Anglesey to visit, including a number of N/T properties, and the coastal path offers a variety of walks. The nearest supermarket is a Tesco express at Benllech, and there is an Asda, Lidl & Aldi at Llangefni, about 8 mls from the site. If you like a quiet, peaceful non-facility site this is one we would recommend you to visit.
over night stay
i must say that after driving 6 hrs we were greeted by a lovely lady who promptly booked us in and showed us where to pitch . the pitches were very clean and tidy and there were visible signs of ongoing tree planting and general tidying up . 10 min walk to the beach and shops .
a very nice site and will definitely come back to .
