What a beautiful site. We booked last as a stop off on the return journey from Cornwall. One night wasn't enough and we will return! The site is peaceful and gloriously set amongst tall pine trees, despite there being a number of children running around the woodland setting gave a tremendous sense of space and tranquility. The site is spotlessly clean including the shower blocks. The staff are polite and professional. We could have spent days at Carsington Water, in addition to the site, the reservoir itself is superb, I enjoyed cycling the 10 miles around its perimeter. There was a large play park, visitors centre, water sports area, nature reserves. We will be back in the not too distant future!
