Peaceful as usual
My third visit to the Carsington Water cub site, alone as usual except my dog, and we were both made welcome. I love the setting, in the pine forest, which makes you forget the cities and light pollution for a few days. Just a short break this time and with my local knowledge (from previous visits), I made most of the Knockerdown pub and local trails. We endured constant thunderstorms for the few days I was there, but it made the break more breathtaking than usual.
I look forward to my next visit (with Amber).
