We stayed 3 nights in May. Chose it because of the Strawberry Cycle line. Downloaded a good map from the Club website. The cycle line was easy to find with the map. Be aware that some of the route is on roads - although Axbridge was beautiful. Had a great cycle around the reservoir. Tesco & Sainsburys close to walk to for a newspaper. Sainsburys had a good selection of dry Gluten Free food. Made the mistake of not noting the directions to walk into the main part of Cheddar so missed out on several shops & small pubs. We thought the road with Tescos was the main part. Cheddar is mad at the weekend with tourists so this is a great site because you can leave the car behind.
