Lovely site when theres no home game.

Our first visit to this site, which is 5 minutes walk from Cheddar town and all of its facilities. The site is quite small, and is in two parts separated by a tall hedge. the first part is basically two straight lines, whereas the second part is more open. This is where we pitched. There are only two wardens on site, who worked hard and kept the site clean. The wristband system was different to where we had come from, Rookesbury, in that you weren't given your own wristband. Instead, 4 wristbands were in a pot of diluted Milton, and you took one when entering the shower block. We found this system worked just as well, and had no problems. We used the facilites early in the morning, and didn't have to queue. Those a little later did though. There isn't a dog walk on site, but the walk from the site is safe, and leads to a lovely grassed area next to the river. It really is nice. The only thing to be aware of is the sites proximity to Cheddar Football Club. On the Friday that were there, the club house was being used for 'music' practice, and was very loud. Afterwards, the local football team took on Wincanton Town, and without fans, you could hear the players effing and jeffing for the full 90 minutes.
