Good for families

Its a car park

We only used as a stop over on the way to Cornwall from Yorkshire. Very uninspiring site. Its basically a car park. All concrete and very sloped. Views are of the grandstand or a few retail buildings. The only great thing was the circular walk around the racecourse that the dog loved. Certainly wouldn't want to holiday here.

Aye up Richie.

We did exactly the same about 3 years ago from Wakey.

We had the pitch right next to the bookies, severe slope, struggled to unhitch the caravan!

Nightmare.

Where abouts in Cornwall you going?

It's a short stroll into Cheltenham, though. And the steam train comes into the racecourse station.

But, if you just need a one night stopover, Tewkesbury is easier to access from the motorway, and is mainly grass pitches. 😊

Tewksbury now has a large amount of all weather pitches as well as gravel hardstand serviced pitcheslaughing
