A Great Location at a Price
As was expected, the club site was immaculately clean, with friendly staff, and perfectly located for visiting this area of the country. We visited Chester, Liverpool and Merseyside for the 4 nights we were there, and if the weather had been better would have explored further. The only gripe is that the prices for this site seem quite extortionate; if 2 adults want to take 2 children over the summer holidays, it's getting on for nearly £40 a night - too much for club members I feel.
Recommendations from our visit: try the Mersey Ferry deal which includes the famous ferry from Seacombe where parking is free, a short trip to Woodside to visit the incredible U534 U-Boat Story, and then the ferry across to Liverpool for the open-top bus tour. Well worth the money.
