The 5th visit to this site over the years and never fails to deliver on a quality stay ,the Co-Op down the road carries a good range of supplies, and you can't miss all the quirky bird feeders that the wardens put out , a well maintained site set in different areas
This is woodland tranquility
The roe deer visit each morning and feed from the hand. The woodland is natural. We could lounge and read undisturbed in the most splendid surroundings. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We will return.
Amazing and unique
Just returned after an amazing 10 night stay at Crossways. Ideal location with the wardens quirky touches throughout the site which they do an excellent job maintaining and are friendly and extremely helpful. The facilties are always spotless and the dry compost loos are a brilliant idea to help the environment. The animal visitors of deer, squirrels and rabbits are wonderful to see while chilling out and the dog walk is great as it meanders through the woods. We will definitely return to this site and consider it one of the best in the caravan club. Well worth a visit.
Crossways - great CC site
We used crossways as a base for visiting Camp Bestival at Lulworth and had a great weekend. The sites little glades off the main route make for idyllic pitches. The CC staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and full of useful tips and info.
We look forward to returning very soon.

Different
At last a site that's not identical to all the other cc sites. The setting is great, little bays in woodland, and quiet despite a railway line and quarry adjacent. The train and bus services to Dorchester and Weymouth (and beyond) are a real benefit to pass holders. The local pub serves good food and beer and offers a discount to cc campers. The wardens are really pleasant with a good corporate sense of humour. The facilities are a little dated and not particularly close to all pitches, but we loved it!!!!
Super getaway site that's handy for exploring Dorset
A great little site , beautifully maintained with easy access to lots of excellent spots in Dorset. The site uses all the natural features of the woodland in which it sits. The staff are very helpful and always have a smile on their face. A super place for dog walks. It's very handy for buses and trains with the added bonus of a pub two minutes walk through the side gate from the site. You will not be disappointed.
Lovely as always
This was our third visit to Crossways and we were not disappointed. The wardens were friendly, really helpful, always had time for a chat and have added some lovely touches with flowers and wooden sculptures around the site. It is set amongst woods with a mixture of sunny pitches and shaded, the whole site well looked after, without losing any of the woodland charm. Good location with the train station less than 5 mins away, £4.30 return takes you into Dorchester, plenty to do and see plus some good shopping! Opposite the station there is a very good pub doing excellent food and real ales. Only minus, there is no wifi anywhere on site if that is important to you.

Lovely Little site
A lovely little site that's full of character. Developed in a wooded area that bustles with wild life. The site staff are always about and couldn't be more helpful. The site is within two minutes walk to a train station, a pub and it is within a short drive to Lulworth Castle and Cove, Corfe Castle, Swanage, Dorchster. Plenty for everyone to do and see.
Top site
First class wardens, very helpful and go out of they're way to help you. Only criticism is site could do with a up date.but we will definitely be going back.
A wonderful experience
We found the site absolutely delightful. Its wooded character and the arrangement of secluded bays taking two or three vans offered both privacy and the ability to socialise at a personal level with the other campers. Ultimately a site is only as good as the wardens and assistants who run it and here the Club has struck gold. Perry and Marie and Fiona and Martin are clearly hard workers because the site and all facilities are immaculately maintained, but they still find time to chat to campers and offer advice on places to visit. Perry's handiwork, whether it's a tractor pulling logs (built with logs), a bird feeder in the shape of a castle flying the Club's logo or any of the other dozen or more features he has built add charm and a unique personal touch to the site. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
