Sea views

Had a nice stay here in March 19. Pitch was spacious, with Seaview, and gravel hard standing, as were all the pitches, it even had you own tap, cdp and wastewater disposal were near by. Washrooms were nice, clean and warm. Had nice little shop for any essentials, staff were very helpful and friendly. Hope to return again, was good views to sea one night but after this the mist prevented this, but that's the chance you have to take especially so early in the season. Was very peaceful on site with a barrier controlling entry. Many good walks in the area directly from the site.

Quiet

Quiet site near to Morte Hoe. Really helpful staff who stayed open longer than they needed to as we were late due to Mway snarl up and helped with awning fix. Good service point for motorhomes, clean useful facilities.

Enjoyable Stay

This site is in a lovely location. One of the tidiest, cleaness sites we have visited, so well maintained . Nice large pitches too, with good views and lovely sunsets. Good for walking. Walk to Lee is nice. It is adjacent to a Caravan and Camping club site, just seperated by a very low wicket fence with gateways through. The CCC site is much larger than the C&MC site, some visitors actually thought they had booked on the C&MC site but were pitched on CCC site, as we are members of both clubs we were actually told C&MC site full but we could go on the CCC, not sure everyone was informed of this. The only real downside was, where we were pitched, at the bottom of the site, admittedly with the best sea view, the service blocks were in our opinion too far away, others were of the same opinion. Think another one is needed at the bottom end of the site. All in all though a great 6 nights stay, great weather.

Love this site!!

Great location! Friendly and helpful on arrival, which continued throughout our stay! Large spacious pitches, amazing views, personally preferred the grassy pitches (but was dry and Lovely weather)! Dog friendly, child friendly, immaculately clean toilets and hot showers! Walks from site accessible and plentiful, with stunning scenery! Thank you!!

Fabulous Views

If its sea views you want, you couldn't do better. Also surrounded by lovely countryside. Good spaced out pitches. It was very peaceful as away from major roads. All facilities are modern and very clean. Good on site shop was very handy. Within walking distance to pretty local village of Mortehoe and beautiful beach at Woolacombe. Will definitely return in the future.

Good Site

This is a good site very good pitches with sea views, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were immaculate and site is well maintained, but it is very open and the wind can be a problem but if you get the good weather you will love it. A must visit for food is the Ship in Mortehoe, we will return next year

A 'return to' site

This site is near perfect. It is large but it was very quiet and peaceful as the pitches are well appointed and not too close to each other. We had a very friendly welcome at reception and we had a lovely, level hardstanding pitch with sea views. There are many country walks available directly from the site toward the sea. I walked for miles up to the lighthouse. Nearby (turn right out of the site) you can access the nearest village and enjoy one of two pubs that serve good pub grub. There is a local shop and tea rooms too. Further down to the coast you will reach Woolacoombe. The toilets/showers etc were spotless and there are laundry facilities too. The shop on site was very handy and sold newspapers/groceries/fresh bread/coffees etc. We wlll return again and again. Thank you.

Wow!!

Stayed for 3 nights. New to caravanning and the staff were very helpful, man with the tractor positioned the unit on site on arrival and 3 wardens offered their advice and helped us to hitch up on the morning we were leaving. Stunning views, well maintained site, very good facilities which includes a fully stocked shop. Would visit again.
