There are "road closed" signs on the main road and the warden was very thoughtful and phoned the day before to tell us that the closures did not affect us which was great and prevented any confusion. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and the wardens were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The site is in a lovely area and very quiet except for bird song which we love. Some of the pitches are a bit quirky so when busy it may be an issue if you have a very large caravan/motorhome, our van is 6.4m and didn't have any issue finding a suitable pitch. The dog walk comes with an agility course and toys which is a really nice touch. We prefer sites without a toilet block as we have all necessary facilities on-board and the lack of toilet block equates to a much cheaper stay and a bargain at £105.70 for 7 nights for 2 people! The site is definitely worth a visit and the wardens are a credit to the Club.
