Stayed here en route to the north as we couldn’t find any CLs. The site is in a good location to visit the Durham area, & the site itself is very clean, tidy & dog friendly with a little dog walking area. There are also dog walks that go into the city itself along the river bank. The big downside is that it is located between the A1 & A690, both very busy roads. Added to that is a farm access road with noisy farm machinery, and a Highways England depot with the vehicles associated with it. This is a great site if you can blot out the noise!
