Great location for us by the A1 as we were visiting family in Durham and Newcastle. Usual high standard of cleanliness. The noise from the A1 traffic was not too intrusive, and more of a distant 'drone', so we soon got used to it. The layout of the site makes it a long walk around the road to the toilet block if you are on the opposite side of the site. Some members object to people cutting across the side of their pitches. Personally, it doesn't bother us, but a designated footpath across the site to the toilet block is needed and then members could avoid pitches near to the path if they choose.
