We have stayed at Durham Grange a number of times to visit our son who was in Durham University. Our final stay was in June 2018. This is a great site located just off the A1. The park and ride is within easy walking distance or there is an excellent local taxi service, Phoenix taxis, who charge about £7 each way into Durham itself. The facilities at this site are spotless and we note that one of the wardens likes looking after the flower bed outside the office which is a credit to her. There is a little road noice from the A1, but nothing that will bother most. Well worth a visit, loads to see and do in Durham.
