LOVE this site!

I stayed at this site as it was close to home and I had just purchased my first motorhome so wanted somewhere local to get used to all the bits and bobs and things that you have to do when running a motor home. The site is really easy to find, very close to the A1 which was great as i was camping alone and driving a 4.5 ton motorhome for the first time was terrifying so i wanted to stick to big roads where possible till i got used to the size. The folks running the site were so helpful and the access is easy and 24hr with the use of the key fob. The site has motorhome service point which is a large grid you drive over to drain the tanks, i couldn't open what i thought was the dirty water tank and the site manager came to give me a hand, explaining which tanks drained where and how to open them (seems the 'dirty water' was on the other side and it was the clean water i was draining, oops). when i had a problem with fitting the TV they made me an aerial cable so i could connect it, when there was an issue with the gas bottle in the camper they helped sort it out, everyone associated with that site were very helpful. I had a dog with me (i use the term loosely, its a small white thing that yaps) and the dog walking area is great, it clearly states when dogs should be on lead and when they can be let loose to sniff and run. plenty of poo bins around and the trails are graveled for ease of mobility. Although we were next to the A1 i never noticed the noise of the road, the site is well protected by trees which seem to act as a sound barrier. I will definitely be staying at this site again
