We stayed for a week in early June 2019 during a week of torrential rain, so that might have biased my opinion. First, the good points - it is very peaceful and quiet, the loos and showers are clean if a little old and the wardens are very friendly. The problem, I feel , is that the pitches are just not big enough for modern caravans. When we arrived, there were a couple of free pitches that we "might just fit with a squeeze" and a couple of others where we should be OK. Our van is 7.3 metres overall, we had a small porch awning and tow with a Mercedes GLC. We took a hedged pitch on the southern edge, aware that there'd be no sun. Without a motor mover, there is no way that we could have put the van in place (as proved by later arrivals to the adjacent pitch who gave up after 15 attempts). The awning was touching one hedge and to open the car door meant that the side of the car was in the other hedge. We had about 18 inches clearance at either end.
The road into Pett is narrow and pot holed and the lane to the site is single track with cars parked in the passing places. There's no phone signal on the O2 network, radio reception is hindered by the trees, but there are hook up points for the TV. The utility pillars are oddly situated, so you will need 25 metre mains and aerial leads. I guess it is an older site and more suited to motor homes (there were more of these than caravans during our stay). Sadly, I don't think it's somewhere I'd rush back to.
