Dog Lovers Heaven

We enjoyed our stay at Freshwater, the toilet facilities were very good, the site itself was also very well maintained. Mobile network signal non existent, so is 4g data network so forced to buy the clubs website log in, which was OK, but not great. ... But wait, this place is overrun by dogs. I have a dog so no claims of "I bet he's a dog hater". If you missed Crufts this year , you can always get your doggie fix at Freshwater. I do not drive 4 hours for some tranquility to listen to dogs barking and whining all weekend. Great site but kerb the influx of dogs guys, the bloke opposite us had 3 greyhounds turned up in a van with a big cage in the back, every time a dog and its owner walked past (which was frequently) , it let fly barking and growling.... Not acceptable and won't, for this reason only be going back. I'm wondering if i have joined a club, which is subliminally a back door for a Dog Owners club in disguise.

Totally agree Gooner, I am at Pembrey at the moment & I have to walk twice as far to the toilet block to avoid "upsetting" 4 poodles who sit outside a caravan all day & go ape at anything that goes past, even upsets other dog owners! Wardens a few years ago wouldn't have put up with it.
