A gem in the collection
Been here 7/8 times (from memory) and never been disappointed. Just returned from 11 nights there,
Awesome scenic location and superb for those after a bit of peace and quiet.
Martin and Ann run a tight ship with spotless facilities and manicured grass and flower beds - entrance is one of the best!
Due to volumes it was allocated pitches when we arrived, not a pitch we'd normally select but site managers can only manage what they have available - it was perfectly adequate given size of van.
This site suffers from one layout fault that needs to be rectified - the Mhome service point is in the walled area and that can lead to queues of motorhomes sitting waiting (often with engines running). Given its location you often need to wait for a service session to be completed before you can leave or reeenter. A second one needs placed in the main area.
Only other complaint is that the wifi is a waste of time, constantly disconnecting or unavailable - essential as EE in the walled garden is virtually never available, missed a number of calls.
Kids need to like the countryside/nature or the sea - there's nothing else there!
Proof of the pudding is that we are back in mid August for another 10/12 nights
