A great site for walking and sightseeing

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our 2 week visit to Ireland having previously stopped at Dublin (Camac Valley - non CC affiliated) 5 nights and Flemings White Bridge at Killarney for 5 nights. Peace and quiet are the key words here, but the site has so much to offer - a very clean amenities block, a games room, a TV room and a campers kitchen area. Wifi seemed patchy and was transmitted from a chalet at the top of the site. Views from the site are stunning as are the walks - the local information centre behind the Coach Inn pub is the place to go - they provided us with all the walking info we needed. Also worth checking out www.discoverireland.ie/walking before you visit and get an idea of what there is to see. Tipperary town was a place we only visited once - whilst we had heard you could have a good time down there in the pubs (a la Dublin!) we simply didn't have the energy to do that as well as walking!! The Coach Inn pub 300 yards from the site was delightful - like walking into someone's front room. You can sample the Guinness there just the same as in Tipp Centre and have just as good an experience :-) All in all we'd totally recommend this site
