Out of a 20 site tour of Scotland this was the worst

Site is in a perfect location with a 15 minute walk into the local village with a mainline train station to Edinburgh and a large Tesco 10 minutes walk away, and as we have a motorhome this was ideal. We felt the site was sub standard, the toilet blocks were dark and cold and we were there in July. Overall we felt that the site was run more for profit than for the comfort of its visitors. Thanks CC but we won't return to this one and will probably avoid SA sites as much as possible after this experience.

Well laid out site

This is a beautifully landscaped site. Our dogs were particularly taken with the large numbers of rabbits running around the pitches! Lovely walks nearby. I was disappointed to find that the dishwashing sinks took forever to fill with only a trickle of tepid water. Perhaps because the showers were being used, but not good enough considering the cost of the pitch. Wifi was available at the extortionate cost of £6 for 24 hours! We enjoyed our stay and would go back though.

Great Site

Good site with an adult only section. wardens friendly and helpful and facilities good. We visited the Deans Biscuit Factory where they do tours during the week. They have a restaurant/tearoom selling lovely cakes and biscuits also free WiFi and a gift shop. There are lots of distilleries close by and a distillery route train runs from Dufftown to Keith. We particularly enjoyed the tour at the Strathisla Distillery at Keith.  At the end there were 4 whiskies to try. Would stay on this site again.

Good site

Nice site large pitches, we didn't get a tv signal but that might have been our fault. For some reason we had to use the electric point in the next pitch, good job we have a long cable. We would go back tho.
