I don't find myself writing reviews that often but I had to for this site as it deserves five stars (and more). A beautiful and well kept site.  The layout of the site makes it feel that you are sharing a site with only a handful of others.   Only staying for one night we wanted to take in as much of Huntly as possible (with our four legged friends) and the young couple on the desk couldn't do enough for us.  They let us have the use of their own copy of a local walks book which was very informative.  Just a polite request for us to return it when we left. The toilets were the cleanest I've seen and I liked that each 'area' had their own block with differing closing times meaning you were never left short! I'm not sure if it was coincidental or the team allocate this way but the pitches surrounding the very impressive play parks seemed to be occupied only by those people with children whilst adult only parties were allocated pitches in the other areas.   With lots of open space and walks direct from the campsite, this site was first class.  The team should be commended on their customer service and the upkeep of their park.  We spotted the team quietly going around doing jobs such as painting the logs separating pitches, keeping the perfectly landscaped grass pristine, or emptying bins.  A friendly hello was always given - the staff appear to go above and beyond - fabulous!   The only downside to this site was the fact we'd only booked one night and could not extend due to additional bookings.  We will be back as there is still lots more to see.
