Nice site, but be careful where you pitch

This is a nice site, well maintained with excellent sanitary facilities. My experience was spoilt by the pitch I was allocated. If you’re situated in any of the pitches 28-31, be aware that they border the so called ‘Dog Area’ which is effectively the dog toilet. There is a procession of people during the day walking through these pitches taking their dog(s) to relieve themselves in full view of anybody unlucky enough to be sat outside their van - it certainly spoilt our alfresco eating!

I noticed recently that a fenced off area had been formed to create a dog walk. It’s a vast improvement over having to take one's life in one's hands in the narrow lanes around the site. Well done the club.

I find the noise from the sewage pumps intrusive on this site if pitched too close to the facilities block.

We don't have a dog so wouldn't set up next to the dog walk.  We don't have children so wouldn't park up next to the children's area on a site - you see, there is a pattern choose your pitch carefully.  The good thing about this site is that the wardens DO NOT pick your pitch - you pick your own pitch and if you are unhappy with your pitch it is very easy to move.

These wardens are the best we have come across and I am sure would be happy to assist anyone in moving pitch.
