Fabulous find and will visit again.

We booked this site when we couldn't get our favoured site and we were so glad we did. The access roads were fine, the welcome was warm and the pitches are all flat and a good size. We ended up on a fully serviced pitch and for a 3 night stay cost us about £65 which we thought was extremely good value. The toilet/shower facilities were spotless every day (with a hand drier that actually blew hot air fast) and the site is really well kept. Lidalia is set in a nice picturesque location surrounded by woods which were great for busy dogs. On one side there is the rear fences of houses but this did not distract from our stay at all. The worst thing about this site was the birds calling out from daybreak (noisy crows) but will not put us off from staying again. The site is in close walking distance to local village shops and pubs. We visited 'The Grapes' pub which is dog friendly and had some very nice food at a reasonable price. It may not have a play park for kids or anything like that but it is peaceful and has some great dog walks direct from the site and a river a short distance if the dogs like a swim. We didn't have any TV reception from our caravan ariel so we were loaned an ariel by our hosts free of charge. We were a bit disappointed that we had to leave and will definitely return.
