We were given an arrival time of 9.00am, 4th July 2020, unfortunately we arrived at 8.30am, and gates were locked, we were refused access to site despite on the Access Statement its states there are was two spaces for new or late arrivals, but these spaces are within the site, beyond the locked gate, the wardens said they could not unlock gate before 9am, we were told to park down narrow lane in lay-by and wait, which we did, but to get out layby we had to reverse back up narrow lane, ok if you have camper van - but reversing caravan not such great fun. Anyway we eventually got onto our pitch which was ok, cant comment on facilities as there is none, and did not use site shop. Paid £11.00 to get onto Wifi which was very poor, so that was waste of money. Drive through Goldsithney very interesting as locals park both sides of road, and with traffic calming one had to be very patient, and give way more than usual, especially as some of the locals obviously don't like caravans being dragged through their village, shame they was not better access route.

You always need patience when driving through Goldsithney - the locals have nowhere else to park.
What a shame you didn't wait in one of the lay-bys on the A30 instead of arriving a full half hour ahead of your allocated slot. I hope other visitors to the site take heed and don't arrive early.
You haven't told us about the peace, the woodlands or the nearby coastline. I guess it wasn't your type of site. Better luck next time.
