This is one of our favourite sites, and it's just half an hour from home. Lucky us !! It's the first time we've been since Jools and Denise took over as wardens and it still has that informal, relaxed feeling. The setting is great, with well maintained mainly grass pitches and is surrounded by substantial hedges and trees to one side. Jools and Denise keep the facilities in excellent condition and go out of their way to assist with anything you need. It was quite busy the four nights we were there, over the bank holiday weekend, which was unsurprising considering the great weather. We certainly won't be leaving it so long again until our next visit.
