We stayed at Melrose for 9 nights. The wardens were excellent and the site clean. A short walk into the town centre where there are plenty of places to eat, in or out. The amenities were clean but in need of up dating. The washing up area needs to be refurbished, perhaps enclosed as although it was June when we were there, the cool wind made sure you did not linger to long. Martins butchers shop at the top of the main street is highly recommended. I purchased wifi time simply to monitor my security at home following a scare earlier in the year whilst we were away. I paid for 7 days. We visit 4 independent sites during the year and each is a serviced pitch, including electric, showers etc and free wifi. The fees are between £26 & £30 a night for 2 adults. All the sites are well cared for and clean. The fees charged by them make the club pricing a bit expensive, considering a serviced pitch and wifi are extra.
