We've been coming to this site for years and always find it charming, quiet, well-maintained and a lovely place to stay. The facilities are rarely used by us but the Covid arrangements seem to be well-considered and effective. The WiFi was a bit of a problem for the first couple of days but then the Airangel engineers visited and all was well. The Pizza Van (Wednesday) and the Fish and Chip van (Friday) are both worth supporting and provide excellent choices. The local pubs at St Mawes were heaving given current staycations but our favourite - the Old Quay Inn at Devoran - was fairly quiet and is definitely worth a visit - they have a stepped terrace back garden which is a sun-trap and has about a dozen 4-6-seats private areas. The Dog walk is ideal, the site is big enough to make the post-dinner walk around it (several circuits) worthwhile, and the entry traffic light is ALWAYS red when we arrive!
