Lovely little site

First time staying at a Caravan Club site as we have only just bought a motorhome, and if they are all as nice as this site then we're looking forward to visiting more. The toilets and showers were nice and clean, as was the rest of the site, and the wardens couldn't be nicer. Although there isn't really anything for kids to do on the site it's only a 15 minute walk to the seafront and Butlins. We would definitely return here.

An excellent site

This is a quiet clean and tidy site. The walk to Minehead will take 20 minutes. Car parks in Minehead can be expensive, on the front, so this is an advantage. There are Tesco and Morrisons superstores within a short car drive. During our stay we had a problem, with our caravan, and the wardens couldn't have been more helpful in getting the problem resolved. We plan to revisit the area and would recommend this site.

Two nights at Minehead

Excellent site to visit North Somerset coastline. Very clean and tidy at all times. Very nice friendly staff. Clean showers and toilets. Not on or near the beach. Very close to all shops and takeaways. Overall 100% worth a visit. Make sure a visit to Porlock lynmouth and  Lynton . Very quiet site

First Visit to a Caravan Club (Club) site

This was our first visit to a Caravan Club ( Club)site because although we have been members for some years we prefer smaller sites generally. The welcome we received at Minehead was second to non and our telephone enquiry en route was handled in a very friendly manner. On arrival we were quickly allocated a site of our own choice and the whole booking in process was very comfortable. The site itself was kept extremely well and we thought that the layout and facilities was perfect. We will not hesitate to recommend this site to our friends and the Staff on site were a credit to the Caravan Club. Despite some worries about Minehead and the Holiday camp connections we thought that the Town was a lovely place to visit and particularly enjoyed the wonderful walks. We will be returnig

Excellent little site

From the warm welcome to the cleanliness of the shower/toilet facilities this is an excellent site for a visit even in Winter. We booked on-line a pitch without awning for 3 nights at the end of February 2015 for our motorhome "Monty".  The site is on the edge of Minehead and has easy access from the A39 just outside the front gate.  Though close to this main road noise seems limited as does the extremes of any windy weather due to the site being protected having originally been a quarry. 15 minutes walk away is the town of Minehead itself with plenty of shops and eateries. On arrival on Tuesday the duty warden kindly advised that the Duke of Wellington Wetherspoons had their great value steak night. Further walking routes from the site make the SW Coast path easily accessible and a walk to Medieval Dunster with its wool market and castle is well worth the effort. I dont know why we haven't been here before and certainly will look to return soon in the warmer weather.

Great little site and plenty of attractions

Great site for all the family including the pets, on the doorstep of many attractions. It even has a caravan repair service that will come to the site to do anything you might need. We went down to Woolacombe bay very nice for surfing even has a caravan accessories store so we decided to get a new waste master. We even managed to get £20.00 OFF RESULT

First time.....

What can I say? This was our first outing in our Caravan and we were all very inexperienced. Warden's were amazing and helped us setup..... Very clean facilities. Walking to Minehead takes about 10minutes. 5* site..... One to beat!

Last weekend

The site is perfectly situated to explore both Minehead and the surrounding area. Not the prettiest site on the network but clean and functional. We'll run too by the very nice wardens.

Our first time here

Easy to find and a good location for minehead and surrounding areas. Friendly and helpful wardens. Toilet and shower blocks were very clean and well maintained.

2nd Time

This was our second visit to the site. The wardens are most agreeable. The toilet block is up to the usual (high) standard. The lengthened pitches are very much welcomed. The A39 is sometimes a little narrow and the road surface is appalling, but once on site all can be forgotten. Undoubtedly we will be back.
