A great fortnight

We stayed at this site for two weeks, 1 out of school and one half term week. It was well laid out, spacious and open. The play area was great for the grandchildren and we were pleased that on site speeding wasn't an issue as they were allowed to go to the park on their own. Easy access to Wroxham, Gt Yarmouth, Potter etc. plus Bewilderwood and Wroxham Barns for the children. Lathams and Roys offered great shopping and of course, the Broads themselves with a lovely trip out from Wroxham on a boat. Living the other side of Norfolk, this site is both far and near enough to visit regularly so we will be back. As noted in another review, there was a rave in the area during our stay but this did nothing to affect our enjoyment. Thank you.

Very enjoyable first visit

3-night stay in our motorhome and we would definitely come again. Warm welcome from the warden and we were given the choice of the available serviced pitches. Site was very well presented and facilities immaculate. A Fish and Chip van was expected on our first night between 6-8pm but I only just got served at 6.45pm as it was about to leave! I guess an hour is enough outside the main summer season so it is worth joining the queue at 6pm and not coming back later as I did. Great site for exploring the Broads and also shopping in Wroxham. On our last night (Sat) there was a loud 'rave' going on somewhere nearby which was audible all night in our van but the site staff could have done nothing about that. Don't let that put you off because the site is great and otherwise peaceful!

Lovely Site!

We have stayed here twice this year and each time thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The site is clean and very tidy, the showers are fabulous with an area for your clothes separated by the shower curtain so all contained nicely. Nice location, easy access to lots of places. Can't fault the site we just love it!

No faults found.

This is one of the nearest sites to where we live but it is our first visit. Approach roads a bit "fiddly" but no problem. Reception greeted with a smile, always a good start, site neat and well maintained. Encountered a problem with the t.v. point which was rectified within minutes, facilities,as always, immaculate. The "chippy" van on a Thursday is a treat not to be missed ! Great end to another very enjoyable season of bargaining, can't wait to be able to book for 2016.

Beautiful Site

Just had a wonderful week in this fab little site. Central for visiting the Broads and other attractions in the area and about a mile to walk to lovely Horning with pubs on the river and little gift shops. Ludham Bridge is a few minutes walk away with a little cafe and a gift shop and Places to fish if that rocks your boat. Back to the site, the pitches are well kept, the shower blocks spotless and look quite new, there is a small park for young children and a designated dog walk. To top that there are four friendly wardens who were very willing to give advice on where to go and even lent us an electric cable as ours was too short. This was our first time in Norfolk and it definitely won't be our last.
